Hannah Perko-Engel is a Bay Area based Actress who received her B.F.A from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, where she trained with the Atlantic Acting School and Stonestreet Studios.

Credits include web series, short films, play readings, commercial work, and co-stars in two episodes of the Netflix series 13 Reasons Why. She recently understudied the role of Gail in the world premiere of Sarah Ruhl’s Becky Nurse of Salem at the Berkeley Repertory Theatre.

In addition to acting, she recently produced her first short film, Wild Braid, which was an official selection at the Cannes Indie Shorts Awards, Berlin International Film Festival, Montreal Independent Film Festival, Beirut Women Film Festival, Los Angeles Shorts international Film Festival and Farhang Film Festival. Her producing work spans across the landscapes of narrative film, advertising, and editorial fashion, and has appeared in publications including Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar.

A native of Oakland, CA, Hannah has seen firsthand the positive impact that creative expression, arts education, and community can have. In all of her work, she hopes to use storytelling as a tool to encourage empathy and connection.
